Called Congregational Meeting

The Session announces a congregational meeting to be held on Sunday, September 7. At this meeting, the members of the church will vote on our Pulpit Nominating Committee’s recommendation of the Reverend Doctor Kyle McClellan as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Pooler. If Dr. McClellan is elected, members will also be asked to approve what our denomination’s Book of Church Order refers to as the “terms of the call” (details of his compensation package recommended by the Session). All members are encouraged to pray that God would guide us in this important decision, and to plan on being present for the upcoming meeting.
